From Michèle Weibel's works escape an organic force, a raw emotion,
a powerful sensuality that she expresses with a sincere, sensitive and passionate gesture.
His works are not afraid to be alive and put us in contact with its material as well as its mystery.

Oil painting, inks, pigments, coffee, red wine, techniques
oxidation are all original mediums which, among others, structure his creations,
give them a vibrant depth thanks to which the gaze is freed and the senses
free themselves, without restraint.

Bubbling and in perpetual search of expression, Michèle Weibel draws inspiration from the curves of the body,
seizes natural materials, questions the boundaries between the figurative and the abstract, moves from calm
to the storm, without ulterior motive.

His artistic universe, deeply human and alive, shakes up, caresses, gives, torments, nourishes, cries out,
heals, inspires, surprises, fascinates, soothes.
We enter his world with disconcerting simplicity and we lose ourselves there with delight.

His latest series of paintings, “Grain de Sel,” can be seen as part of the joint exhibition
with photographer Isabelle Naggar “Pixel et Grain de Sel”.

Michèle Weibel stages giant inks that immerse us in the immensity of the ocean.
Seascapes buffeted by sea spray, levitating sea creatures, gnawed fragments of matter
by the elements: the spectator witnesses the unique alchemy between the pigment and the salt, in between
of the real and the imaginary

Coming from the Applied Arts of Vevey, it is in the fields of graphics, screen printing, advertising,
of decoration and then of interior architecture that she works on.

This varied professional career, enriched by meetings with artists, allows him to dare to thrill
colors and lines at a frequency specific to its sensitivity.
